Materials analysis is an important foundation of our laboratory. The wide variety of methods we use allow us to comprehensively characterise the materials of the chemical elements, mineral phases/compounds or the surface or structure.

Elementary analysis

  • Atom absorption spectrometry (AAS)


Surface analysis

  • Scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EM-ED)

  • X-ray diffraction (XRD)


Organic compounds

  • Gas chromatography (HS-GC, GC-MS, GC-FID, pyrolysis)
